About SwishCal

SwishCal didn't start with a business plan. It started with frustration.

One of our consultants at AI Research—an accountant, no less—was tired of wrestling with clunky CSV imports and calendar formatting chaos. The kind of everyday pain that most people simply accept. But in Stoic fashion, instead of complaining, he asked: What's within my control? The answer was simple: build something better.

So SwishCal was born—not as a grand startup, but as a project in discipline, resilience, and learning by doing. It's part of our broader mission at AI Research, where we encourage every team member to explore new technologies, embrace AI, and understand what it means to build something real, from idea to release.

Rather than keep the tool in-house, we built SwishCal as a polished, secure, publicly available platform—with Google OAuth, verified permissions, and all the steps that take a side project into the realm of real responsibility. It was never just about building a tool. It was about finishing what we started, even as LLMs and new tools threaten to render parts of it obsolete. Because we believe: we don't complete projects because they matter to the world; they matter to the world because we complete them.

SwishCal now helps users around the world turn messy spreadsheets into beautiful, functional calendars across Google, Apple, and Outlook. It's built on Gemini, ChatGPT, Grok, Replit and the grit of seeing things through.

We'll keep improving it. We'll try to keep it free. And we'll always welcome your feedback—because while we can't control the future, we can choose how well we meet it.
